Start on Mr Goosy Santa

Hello dear peeps! It's a beautiful sunny morning here so I am already charged up with rays of peppiness!

I started on my second Santa for the SAL.
In case you are wondering, it's from the Kris Kringle booklet again and it's the one holding the Canada Goose.  Since I am from Canada I had to stitch him!

Other than my SAL, I am not stitching much else these days as I am back to my dressmaking spell. If you are interested, my sewing blog is A Closet full of Posies.

I do have a couple more photos of my February shelf to show you.

So, the Nashville Needlework Market is happening next weekend. Have you seen the sneak peeks? What's on your list?  I am trying to not look too hard right now. No doubt I will get caught in the frenzy (at least some) when more and more new designs are revealed. There does seem to an awful lot of goodness showing already in those sneak peeks!

Thanks for stopping by. Welcome to my new followers as well! Have a great week!

I love your February shelf! As for sneak peaks, I'm trying to keep my eyes closed...... I get in trouble too easy?

The Canada goose is one of my favourite birds. I do like some of the peaks that I've seen so far but for someone who is hardly stitching I'm trying to be good!

I will watch to see what you purchase soon.

Your PS Santa is looking good! I love all the items on your shelf. What is the name of the design in the bottom photo on the right (the one with the urn of bluish flowers and the tiny house)?

Always a treat when I get a chance to stop by your blog, Melissa! Your shelf is wonderful (love the "Love" BOAF pillow). I stitched all 4 years ago and still have not gotten them framed or finished.... I've seen a few things at market but I always buy more than I can stitch. I need to learn a little self control!

Your shelf is just so pretty! I'm trying not to look too closely at the new releases. I will most likely fail at this.

I love your shelves, Melissa! What a fun way to display a variety of needlework projects throughout the year. :)

The market hasn't piqued my interest for quite awhile since my stash quite exceeds my stitching time these days, although I did add a new project from Attic Needlework while I was in Arizona. :D

That is a perfect Santa for you to be stitching, Melissa! I stitched him, too, but gave him away, so he may end up being in my line-up this year, too :)

Oh, your February shelf of love is so cute!! Why I haven't stitched the BOAF Love people is beyond me--they are just so sweet... And remind me again what the one on the far right is (in the bottom photo). I just love those colors--of course!

I am resisting buying anything new--I seem to have way too many pretty things that I've been ignoring for way too long so I'm working on them :)

Happy Santa Stitching, my friend!

Your February shelf is wonderful! Such pretty stitching you've done!!!
I love Prairie Schooler....it's my favorite! I have this chart but haven't stitched any of them yet! I love the beautiful red Santa you finished in your previous post, and the one with the Canada goose will be lovely, too!

Hi Melissa,
after an exhausting busy working week with no time for blogging or commenting I am finally back here and found your lovely post.
A green Santa - oh so lovely colors! I am looking forward to see your progress on it of yesterday's stitching. I started a new Santa yesterday.

Your february shelf is amazing.

Your February shelf is holding some wonderful little pillows. But I'm sure that you will soon be going for a March shelf - if your haven't done it yet.
Looking forward to seeing your Santa with the Canada goose. I haven't started with my PS Santas yet but will stitch my first this month, or maybe in April. I want to add some more Santas to the ones that I stitched last year.

Cute start on your Santa & your February shelf is looking lovely.

I'm not going out of my way to look at the market releases as I'm not in a position to buy anything atm.
