A little hiccup and some stitching

Hi peeps! I hope you are keeping well. I know it's been freezing in many parts of this continent so I can't complain about the rain that just resumed this morning. (What would we talk about if not for the weather?)

After my last post, I must've been hit with some virus (that's the little hiccup) although it didn't seem to be the flu or a cold. I was just extremely tired and had an upset stomach. I suppose I am thankful it wasn't anything worse but it really threw me for over a week!

I have a couple of smalls to show you today, both are from Homespun Elegance.
Shamrock Bunny
With Shamrock Bunny I either bought the chart without the carrot button or I lost the button, so I just stitched in a carrot.
Sewing Bird
I had stitched the Sewing Bird last year and finished it as well. You can see it here. I gave it away to Ann when she had admired it, so now I stitch another for me.

I love smalls!

Here are my two furry pals. Daisy seems to like to sit on my lap when I am watching the news in the evenings these days!
Mr Julius loves to help fold the laundry!
I am starting a Prairie School Santa SAL with Carol and Hilda. Today. I WILL START TODAY.  Yes, I have yet to decide on the linen I will use. The SAL is just for Sundays so I am hoping that I will stitch one per month and have 10 done before Christmas this year! I am sure these two ladies will help inspire me to do so!

I can hear the rain outside. It will be a cozy Sunday.   Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Hi Melissa,
I am so happy to stitch with you and Carol the Prairie Schooler Santa SAL. I already started today.

Your finishes are so lovely!

I hope your "hiccup" is not too bad and you will feel better soon!

Have a nice Sunday stitching time!

Ha! Julius helps with laundry about as much as Henry. He digs all over the bed, where I fold the clothes. He only messes up the folded piles!

Very pretty little finishes. They both speak of spring to me. I agree, we can't complain about the weather here in the NW!

So the next big question is "WHICH PS SANTA WILL YOU START?" Love those little guys, just can't get myself to commit to one!

Glad the bug - whatever it was - has run its course. Enjoy your cozy day!

Hope you're on the mend Melissa. I thought the little bird looked very familiar when I saw it:-)
Both our cats are very much lap cats - as soon as you sit one or both are there to take advantage.

Well, did you manage to get a bit done on the first PS Santa SAL Sunday, Melissa? My Santa has a head and shoulders so far--at least he can breathe :) This will be good--and I so look forward to adding to my PS Santa collection!

I love the newest finishes--both are darling and I see why you stitched the second one again for yourself.

Hope that is the end of your health hiccups for the year! Give the kitties a cuddle for me :)

Inquiring minds want to know what PS pieces you are planning to stitch--although I am behind in my blog reading and you might have posted already... Cute finishes. Will you be making pillows or framing or ?? I have pneumonia at the mo, so not much stitching going on... Glad you are better! Hugs!

These little finishes are so beautiful. Bunnies and birds, two motives that I also love to stitch. Always. Bunny time is already here, too, I kitted up a couple of charts and will soon start stitching them. That will give me the feeling of spring.

I hope you feel a lot better by now.
