Smalls, Part 2 - Christmas themed

Hello, lovely people! Where has the week gone? This will be a quick post with lots of photos to show you my next batch of finishes, with a Christmas theme.  The first two are Blackbird Designs, followed by two from Birds of a Feather.

I have to confess this lot is not quite as interesting as I would have liked as I ran out of jingles/charms. I promise, next week's batch will be more interesting.

By the way, question for you - Where do you buy your jingles, charms, trims online? It's been awhile since I've bought any and now I have to top up my cupboard, so to speak.

I have another new finish to show you, literally fresh off my scroll frame.  This is Beggars Christmas from Threadwork Primitives. I just love this design. This will go into my finishing pile for a later date.
Spring has sprung here but it's still quite cool. We've had rain and sun and more rain is forecasted for the rest of the week - perfect weather for stitching! ;-)

So, end of fly-by post! Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!

Oh Melissa what a nice group of blackbird ornaments you have now. I am a primary color girl, so my most favorite is your BOAF snowman. He is just too cute! Is he a freebie or an OOP chart?

Beautiful ornaments! Very lovely. For trims & charms Etsy.com. today I picked up some ribbon but in the scrapbook section at Joanns. Type in Christmas charms on Etsy and see if something comes up that you like. love Annette

Oh GOLLY! I love, love all your sweet finishing (and stitching)! That BBD crow one, do you know that I had that stitched AND finished and I for the life of me cannot find it. For about 3 Christmases now, I've looked for it. I think I threw it away accidently :(

These are such fun designs. I really like that fabric in the first picture. It really goes well with the BBD piece. Have a good week!

Great finishes Melissa! They all look great! And I love your Christmas Crow finish...that's a pattern I've been eyeing as a treat when things slow down. Hope you had a great weekend!

I always smile when I open your blog and see that gorgeous sampler strewn with roses in your header, Melissa! How beautiful that is :)

I'm just so impressed with how productive you've been lately... love them all and your fabrics that you've used are so perfect. The little jingle bells on the BOAF Santa are adorable, too.

Glad your Spring has sprung--ours has gone back into hiding. In fact, it's snowing here as I write this--blech!!!!

I just realized you started posting again, will have to go back and read. Your blog was an inspiration to me when I started cross stitching quite a few years ago, so am glad to see you back up. When I have some money (if ever!) will have to pick up Beggars Christmas, it is a very pretty design. You stitched it wonderfully!

And again you have a wonderful choice of designs that you stitched, Christmas designs this time. So lovely how your finished them with all the little details added. A feast for the eyes.

I can't give you any advice concerning charms, buttons etc. It's a huge problem for me, too, to buy the ones that actually belong to certain patterns (if they are not included).

So good to read that you can enjoy some spring weather, and the warmth will certainly come soon, too.
