Building Sarah's House - week 3

Hello, all you lovely people! It's another end of Sunday post for me. I really don't want to make this a habit as it's not the best time for my brain to function. It's gearing down instead of gearing up!

First up though, announcing the winners of the giveaways:

#1 - Shepherd's Bush goodies - Cole of Something for Me
#2 - Samplers - Jonette (no blog)

Congratulations!  As to those who didn't win, don't worry, I will have another giveaway next month!

Now, a few photos on my progress on Sarah's house.

I am really happy with the way it's looking. I am looking forward to finishing this one though as there are other projects clamoring in the wings - Stitch me, No, Stitch ME! Do you get that too? ;-)

That's it for this week's post. So far, I'm keeping up with my goal to post weekly. Also, my goal to change my habit of not taking work home mentally is going pretty well. I have to work at it, but it's helped me greatly to focus my attention back elsewhere - like on my stitching!

Have a good week, my friends!

Glad you're back in the swing of things Mellissa, stitching can be therapeutic but you've got to be in the right frame of mind to pick it up in the first place. Good for you.

Good for you. You are no longer taking work home. I am trying to shorten the hours I spend in the office. I hope to be getting somewhere in 2013. And stitch more ! I'll be following your progress.

This is such a lovely design, and you're doing great on it. Yes, I totally get the "stitch me!" syndrome, and this chart is one of the clamouring ones :-)

It's looking so pretty, Melissa! I love this one! Glad you're doing well with the not bringing work home mentally. I know how hard that is. And yes, I often get that projects clamoring for attention while I stitch. My problem is once I finish a project, all the future projects go silent. lolol!

Sarah's house is gorgeous, Melissa... Pretty, pretty colors as are in all the samplers you stitch :)

Another beautiful sampler, Melissa! Good for you with keeping up with your blog (I'm pitiful) and with leaving your work, at work! That's not always easy to do, I know!

Sarah's house is coming along nicely. I do know what you mean about the various projects calling out your name. I'm usually thinking about the next one while stitching the current one. LOL!

Congrats on your progress on Sarah! I know what you mean about projects clammoring. I'm stitching on Jane and now all I can think of is BOAF A Very Fine Sampler. Why didn't I start that ages ago?! I love yours...I think that will be next. :)
