How many finishes?

This is a fly-by post but I am happy to show you a few finishes!

One - Experience Leyland, from the book A Stitcher's Journey by Blackbird Designs. I have wanted to stitch this one for awhile - so "flowing".

Two - Love, by Birds of a Feather. Alternate title "Zombie Love" - don't these guys look kinda weird? Happy but weird, right? ;-)

Three - Summer Iris, by Blackbird Designs. Another Oh-so-Pretty design! I love it!
I finished these last two in three days. I was astonished. But then, I look around the house and I can see why - who needs to do housework?

Thank you for visiting and all your comments. They help me keep stitching and keep blogging! Take care and have a wonderful week!

Hee to Zombie Love! It's sort of a 50's kind of couple, also. Love the flowing of the first BBD design, and yes, I totally agree. Who needs to do stinking housework anyway? Doesn't it do itself?

Your finishes are beautiful! The fabric that you chose really compliments the fibers. Your pieces just pop!! Don't you just hate how housework gets in the way of our creativity!!!!

Three lovely finishes Melissa! You've got turbo needles these days!! Housework?!?!?! I'm trying to learn the art of turning a blind eye when it comes to a choice between that and some stitching!!!!!

Wow! You're really on a roll, Melissa!! They are all so pretty--even the "cute, but weird" zombie couple :) Seriously, I almost stitched that one myself...

I really like the "zig zag" bottom border on the first piece--resembles ric rak, doesn't it? And the colors of both the BBD pieces are wonderful...

Housework can wait--it certainly isn't going anywhere!! Enjoy your week!

Who needs to do housework indeed! I say that we need to stitch, not clean! LOL All three of your pieces look great and I do have to agree with you on the couple - they look kind of weird, but happy.

I'm stitching the "Love" one also. I'm doing mine in DMC threads. They are a cute couple in an odd way - just like me and my husband - LOL! I hope to get mine finished soon and framed and on the wall!

I so agree... stitching is so much more fun than housework! :) Your finishes are all beautiful! I never thought about the BOAF couple looking like zombies, but now that you mention it...

They are all so pretty (even the little zombie couple)! I love the colors.
The things you stitch will be around for a long time. Housework, on the other hand, is undone so quickly. I say stitching over housework. :)
