Day 9 of 10 - Rabbit out of the Hat

Yes, I pulled the rabbit of the hat and have a finish to show! Yeah, I've been stitching and stitching trying to get this one finished up! I'm a nut, I know. I put more pressure on myself than anyone else does I think!

Here is the very fun-to-stitch Earth Sampler, by Lisa Roswell of the Primitive Needle. This is in remembrance to her and a thank you for all her great designs! Also, a big thanks to Nicole who passed this onto me two years ago!
This was stitched on 32 count Reindeer by Lakeside Linens, 2 over 2. I used the recommended floss and added a few of my own to work with the linen. I also swapped out the design of a hand that's in the lower right hand corner, and put in a carrot and a lady bug - a very good friend  to have in the garden!

Julius usually gets the limelight as he's such a character. To give her her due, here's our shy, sweet Daisy enjoying a mid-afternoon snooze by the open windows! What a good life these cats have!
If you have read to the end of this post, here's something that might interest you. I am going to pass the chart along. If you would like to stitch the Earth Sampler, please leave a comment saying so, along with your email if it's not in your blog profile. I will draw a winner by end of day Aug 20 and post the winner's name on Sunday, Aug 21.

And tomorrow, the last day of the 10 day challenge! Who knows what I will be up to tomorrow? Thanks for hanging in there with me!

I LOVE it, Melissa!!! I am going to start stitching this very same sampler in remembrance of Lisa, on September 5th! I love your changes and might just make a few of mine. How sweet of you to pass the chart along. No need to include me, since I already have the chart.

Love the pic of kitty Daisy!

How lucky of me to stumble onto your beautiful website! I am wondering what pattern that is on the very top of this page...with beautiful flowers in a basket and a butterfly on top left and top right. I would love to stitch that!
