Yahooo! I made it! 10 days of daily postings with something stitchy in each one. I'll probably never be that crazy again! Well, ok, it was kinda fun, and I thank you to those who visited with me and commented every day - it meant a lot to know someone is out there reading and enjoying the posts!
OK. Stitchy stuff - well, I pulled a WIP that I'd put aside at the end of 2010. Here it was then:
And here it is now.
This is "Silk sampler" by Birds of a Feather. I'm glad it's a small design so I should be able to finish it soon.
I'm back to work tomorrow so today has been busy just getting things tidied up again.
Remember, if you are interested in the giveaway of the Earth Sampler, go to yesterday's post and leave a comment.
Have a great week. I'll be back next Sunday to announce the winner, and also to show the new framing and, hopefully, another new sampler wall! See you later, Alligator!

I haven't stitched in a while. I need to check out the magnifying lights so I can see what I am doing. Maybe my eyes will get better after I get off the meds, that would be nice, lol. I love the old linens and 14 count is the smallest I can see and even that is not easy.

I've enjoyed seeing your finishes and framing. Looking forward to seeing more and your new sampler wall.
Beautiful progress! Congrats on meeting your 10 day challenge!
Loved loved all your posts, and I'm going to miss them. I loved seeing the pictures of Vancouver--and the sun is shining!
Great job on posting 10 days in a row. I just started my blog and I'm just trying to post at least once a week.
Yay, you made it! And not only that, you posted great posts every single time. Lovely piece you're working on! But then I always love what you stitch, as you know. Good luck with work -- hope it treats you right!

Ohhhh...that looks fantastic. LOVE the colors as well. Especially the dark blue. What threads are you using for it?
Didn't comment every day but loved reading, well done!

Hi Melissa! Thought I'd drop you a quick one via your blog. I'm off on my big o/s trip tomorrow!! A little excited I am and ready to head off. Bags are about packed and the cats have had to be put into a cattery for the time I'm away. They weren't too impressed but they'll be looked after there.
Still happy days with my man (he'll miss me while I'm away). Everything is cruising along there.
Looks like you've been madly blogging of late. I'm glad you're getting some stitching finished off.
Will touch base with you when I get back. Hugs and take care!
I have enjoyed your 10 day challenge. You have some very pretty pieces framed and all your stitching is sensational.
As always, you have inspired me to purchase some new charts!
That is such a sweet sampler! I don't think I've seen it before. Nice progress!
Congratulations on posting for 10 days Melissa! I can't even manage one post right now and am in major comment catch-up mode! Love your WIP, those are very pretty colours!
