100th Post Giveway

A very short post to tell you of the giveaway I'd mentioned on my last post. Here it is:
With One Accord
by Heartstrings Primitives

The giveaway will include the chart, all the floss, and also a piece of 32 count linen (not shown in photo).

So, here are the rules:
  1. Please leave a comment on this post only that you would like to be entered. Ensure that I can contact you, which means either your email is in your blog profile, and if not, please leave it in the comments.
  2. Tell me, what do you wish for your birthday this year? Please don't tell me world peace and all. This is meant to be silly and frivolous ok? ;-)
That's it. Easy Peasy. This will close Jan 31. I will announce the winner next Monday.

OK. So, just to walk the talk and be silly. Here's what I wish for my birthday:
  • Pair of scissors from the French Needle (that takes care of 'silly and frivolous')
  • a Kindle (more about that in the next post)
  • lots of arty / crafty things from all the talented artists I've seen on the blogs, etsy, etc!
That was fun! See you soon, hopefully with some stitching progress though I have NOT picked up a needle since the last post! yikes! Thanks for stopping by.

Happy 100th post Melissa!!! i would love to enter your giveaway. I would have to say the perfect Birthday gift for me would be to have more scissors, fancy, silver, or primitive ones. Can't seem to get enough of those!!! Also, a massage, a shopping spree to my favorite stash store...Shepherd's Bush. Is that too much to ask for?

I would like to sit this one out, but I still want to gab about my silly birthday wish!! :D

1. Those Fox & Grapes Scissors from the French Needle. And the Cat one...And a "Fancy" one. But, how to pick just one!?

2. I'm lucky enough to already have a kindle, though I don't use it *that* much. I read a lot of comics released in serialized volumes. I'd love to catch up in the one's I've fallen behind, so that would be about $300 worth, I suppose.

3. An entire yard of EACH of the BoaF (now Linens by Design) Linens in 36 count. I think there are 4 of them. I'd settle for a half-yard on 2 or 3; I'm not picky *dons halo*

Congrats on 100 posts!

Congrats on ONE HUNDRED posts! I'm not going to enter your giveaway though, because I just won another giveaway so I'll just sit on my hands and let someone else win for a change.

But since you're asking... for my birthday, I'd like a hi-tech dirty clothes hamper that can detect and fetch all of my husband's underwear that manages to get NEXT to the hamper, but never INTO the hamper. If I added up and could bet back all of the time I spend picking up underwear, that'd give me like....3 full days of stitching time each year.

100 posts congratulations! I love the giveaway so I will definately have to put myself down for it. My email is in my blog profile.
Wow what great ideas people have for their wishes.
So for my funny (no way in the world will it happen)wish would be for a magic wand that will zap fat, yes fat from my body, hehe and magically take away our horrid summer here.
On a more sensible (more possible to achieve) wish I guess I could do with loads of fabric, I am soo short right now, so a shopping spree for some yummy evenweaves & linens will do.

That one was a new computer to replace my ancient clunker. My birday is actually in a little more than 3 weeks. I think I just ordered my birthday wishes (well, some of them). This is what I would like for 2010:
1. A trip to the Southwest. Or at least time to work on Desert Landscape Mandala.
2. Time to indulge myself in a little more stitching and less work each day.
3. Some linen twill (check), various counted cross stitch fabric (check), and the AVAS floss I need to finish kitting an embroidery project (almost have it all), background fabric for The Civil War Brides Quilt (on order).

I've seen those scissors on The French Needle - gorgeous!

AND...the eyesight of my youth or failing that a really huge magnifying glass/lamp that will make needlework as enjoyable as it was back then. I love stitching, but hate that I have to stitch on aida because it's much easier on my eyes. hmmmm...is this a wish or complaint? Happy blogging.

AND, my DH is sure to forget about the early B'day gift, so I'm sure I will have some stichy stash in mind come closer to June that I wnat.

Wow! 100 posts is a milestone! Please enter me in your super giveaway. For my birthday I'd love to meet Jacqueline Holdsworth who does the Needleprint blog from England. And, yes, that would include the trip to England!

Thanks...

I usually don't participate in giveways but I like this blog that my daughter indicate me and I had the corage to write something in a language that I don't speak very well. We have a cat like yours: the yellow one. have a nice sunday!

This is great that you have hit 100th post. That is really a time to party. I guess for my b'day wish I would like to have someone come in and help me organize my stitching room. I would love to have it better organized to find my projects and supplies. Plus, I would love to have it feel more comfortable to sit in and stitch.
