A Bluebird has landed

A little Bluebird has landed on my Friendship Sampler.
To join the ABC's and a couple of houses, amongst the flowers.
The colours are really perfect for the summer season. They do look a lot brighter in real life! I just wish I could stitch faster! There's so much I want to stitch! I received some new stash from Katrina's stash reduction efforts - I just need to do a stashy post soon. Check out her sale blog here.

This week I received an exchange from my Blackbird Design group. This is what I received from Mayte - very pretty. You can read more about it here and here.

I received an award from Cindy Mae last week that I would like to share with the rest of you as it is all about friendship. If you read or follow this blog, please feel free to pick it up.

Thank you very much, Cindy Mae!

I have to admit to feeling very off kilter of late. Not sure why. Then yesterday we received word that a wonderful uncle had passed away. Was it "in the air"? Could I sense it coming? No idea. But I am glad I have my stitching now to keep me busy.

Thank you for stopping by! We have been enjoying, for the most part, a warm summer. We just have to remember to water the garden more often! Take care!

Very pretty Friendship Sampler! Don't we all wish we could stitch faster? lol! I love your exchange piece from Mayte too. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. Hugs to you and yours. I still remember my own uncle with fondness -- he died much too young.

I'm sorry about your uncle. It does make you wonder--vibrations? Things we can't understand, surely.

I agree with you on wanting to stitch faster. I just found 2 more projects today and didn't buy them--they were both BAPs. Sigh.

Love the little bluebird.

Oh Melissa...I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I love the bluebird. I love the whole sampler. It is looking fabulous! I know what you mean about wanting to stitch faster. Unfortunately, I am most attracted to BAPs.

I bought some things from Katrina too. What a fabulous sale!

I wish I could stitch faster too; so many charts calling my name. My Friendship Sampler is on hold while I finish up a couple of other things, but I can't wait to get back to it. Yours is beautiful!

Love the friendship sampler and your exchange piece. I have yet to stitch mine but this week it will be done.

I am so sorry about your uncle. I knew exactly when my dad passed away - it's a kind of spooky feeling. I generally know when my kids are sick too even if they aren't here. I don't always get which of my kids but I always know. Lots of Love Patti xx

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle. I do believe some of us are better than others at picking up the vibes of those we love. God's blessings to your family.

Awesome progress, on Friendship. It's really looking beautiful. I can't wait to get mine back from Julie. The piece Mayte made for you is wonderful.

Lovely progress on your sampler. What a dilemma! You want to stitch fast so you can do other patterns you have in your stash, but remember to enjoy the one you're working on now. I've been there, and I know what it's like. This is what happens when you get more stash than you really need. What a lovely place to be though. :)

Sorry to hear about your uncle also. How sad. :( Hugs to you, Melissa - take care.

But your works bring light! Your Friendship sampler is so sweet!
And your exchange piece is very nice!

I'd like to ask you about this Blackbird Design group:
You are a member of it, do you remember, who can give an invitation to it? I'd like to be in it too :)
